Baseband transmission is directly transmitted on the channel according to the original waveform of the digital signal(in the form of pulses),which requires the channel to have a wider passband.Baseband transmission does not require modulation and demodulation,the equipment cost is low,and it is suitable for small-scale data transmission.During baseband transmission,digital signals are usually encoded to a certain extent.Commonly used data encoding methods include non-return-to-zero code NRZ,Manchester encoding and differential Manchester encoding.The latter two codes do not contain DC components and include clock pulses,which are convenient for both sides to self-synchronize,so they are widely used.
基带传输是按照数字信号原有的波形(以脉冲形式)在信道上直接传输,它要求信道具有较宽的通频带。基带传输不需要调制解调,设备花费少,适用于较小范围的数据传输。基带传输时,通常对数字信号进行一定的编码,常用数据编码方法有非归零码NRZ、曼彻斯特编码和差动曼彻斯特编码等。后两种编码不含直流分量、包含时钟脉冲、便于双方自同步,所以应用广泛。
