All modules are connected to each other via the ATRO interface,which guarantees both a rigid connection and the transfer of media.Thus,data,electricity and fluids(compressed air,vacuum or water)are guided internally via the ATRO robotic module.On the other hand,traditional robotic solutions convey media via external equipment and are therefore limited in terms of rotation and working space.Beckhoff’s solution completely breaks this limitation:each axis can be rotated without limit,resulting in higher spatial accessibility and shorter positioning paths.ATRO robots also avoid disturbances due to external media supplies,such as external cables used in collaborative robots that can cause disturbances to torque.In addition,the customer’s application is again provided with a medium via the ATRO interface,which enables easy integration of almost all robotic tools,such as complex robotic handling systems.
